Hot Tub Control Panel
It’s a pretty good bet that the D1 portable spa you have in your yard isn’t “your grandpa’s” hot tub. Technology is one of the big things that make modern hot tubs so luxurious. A portable hot tub’s control panel operates everything from the heater and massage jets, alternating speeds of water flow and power, lighting systems, as well as other options your personal spa may have. These control panels, however, are still technology, and still subject to wear and tear.
On average, even the highest quality spa control panel will last about 7 to 8 years of heavy use. While certainly the more modern control panels have longer lasting capabilities, they are still one of the hardest working parts of your beautiful spa, and sometimes the most overlooked.

Dimension One Spa Control Panel
Dimension One hot tub panels serve several functions. The main panel controls the jets, light and water temperature. Many of these panels have programming features that let you set filtration times and duration to match your busy lifestyle. If your spa has a Dimension One Spas sequencing system, we have the 01710-1017 upper control panel too. This controls the lounge jets that turn groups of jets on / off in a sequence designated by each individual spa user. For spas that utilize a single on / off jet button in the back of your spa, the 01560-325 control is what you need. The Dimension One Spa @Home control panel, 01560-345 has been a staple of the D-1 Spas line for 16 years
Panels vary from year to year and model to model, so if you have a question about the correct panel for your spa, please call the Dimension One Spas experts at Easy Spa Parts for additional. We know what you need.
Hot Tub Upper Control Panel FAQs
What is the expected life of hot tub control panel?
Much depends on the design and sophistication of the panel itself. Simpler panels tend to have a longer life. The more sophisticated panels seem to require replacement more often.
Can I replace the upper control panel myself?
Yes you can! Easy Spa Parts includes our own step-by-step instructions with every panel we sell. We also include the inlay, factory recommended silicone and everything else you need to make the switch. It takes about 45 minutes to do the job and 90% of our customers do their own installation. For more information, check out our control panel installation guide.
What is the warranty on a new upper control panel?
Easy Spa Parts offers a 1-year factory warranty on almost all control panels, including the 01580-0001, 01560-310, 01560-320 & 01560-345 assemblies. The M-Drive, (8000-D19), currently carries a 2-year warranty.
My Dimension One Spas control panel has an error message that says: “Flow Error – Check Water Lever, Rinse Filters…” what does that mean?
A flow error indicates the heater does not have enough water flowing through it so the spa water will not heat until the error is cleared. Try the steps in our troubleshooting guide video to start and call us for more help if the problem continues.
